(früher: Claris Works), 1986 erstmals vorgestelltes integriertes Programmpaket für Büroanwendungen. Es ist ursprünglich für die Macintosh-Rechner von Apple geschrieben worden, heute aber auch in einer Version für Windows erhältlich. Apple Works besteht in der aktuelle Version 6 aus den sechs Modulen Textverarbeitung, Seitenlayout, Bildbearbeitung, Tabellenkalkulation, Datenbank und Erstellung von Präsentationen. Durch die Einbindung des Multimediaprogramms Quicktime lassen sich Bilder, Ton und Filme integrieren, mit dem im MacOS enthaltenen Zusatz AppleScript ist das Programmpaket auch makrofähig. Ferner wird eine Internetanbindung geboten.

Die aktuelle Version Apple Works 6 enthält einen schwer wiegenden Fehler: Ein und dasselbe Dokument lässt sich im Netzwerk von zwei Benutzern gleichzeitig öffnen. Dies kann schnell zu Datenverlust führen, da vermutlich unterschiedliche Änderungen vorgenommen wurden, der Rechner aber nur jeweils eine Version sichern kann. In der Vorgängerversion Apple Works 5 trat das Problem nicht auf.
